Biography
Chris began his first year with the USC Sports Medicine Center in October 2008. He is a NATA certified Athletic Trainer.
Previously, Chris has worked with St. Vincent Sports Medicine, in Indianapolis, IN, as an outreach athletic trainer and physician extender. He has worked with Marian College in Indianapolis, as well as Pike High School and Carmel High School. As a physician extender, Chris has worked side by side with sports medicine trained physicians performing duties such as sports medicine evaluations, patient education, brace fitting, and casting/splinting.
Chris received his Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training from Purdue University in May 2002. During this time, he worked with many different athletic teams including, Purdue Football, Women’s Soccer, Softball, and Cheerleading. Chris has also continued his education, by attending Saint Cloud State University in Saint Cloud, MN, from 2004-2006. During his two years in graduate school, he worked with the Division IA Women’s and Men’s Hockey teams.
Chris’s resume also includes being an athletic trainer at the 2007 USA Track and Field Outdoor National Championship, the 2005 WCHA Women’s Hockey All-Star Team vs. Team USA, USA Hockey Select 15 and Select 17 Festivals, and traveling with the Purdue University Football Team to the 2001 Sun Bowl.
