Biography
Educated at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin, Dr. Stacy received a bachelor of science in zoology. He earned a doctor of medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He completed a residency at Baptist Lutheran Medical Center Family Practice, Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Stacy joined the faculty of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2004 after completing a primary care sports medicine fellowship at Palmetto Health Richland. He is currently a team physician for the University of South Carolina Athletics. Through the USC Sports Medicine Center he continues to provide comprehensive healthcare in the clinic, athletic training room and on the sidelines for all levels of athletes.
Dr. Stacy is married to Jennifer Soroos, MD, a pediatrician for Palmetto Pediatrics in Columbia, SC. They have two children, Jack and Juliana.
